Some of you may have seen this before - but you gotta check out the Stair Dismount... something that came to my attention recently.

This is hilarious. Make sure to turn up the volume so you can hear the guy's screams. I managed to get 69319 damage the other day.

Pretty funny... managed to pull 78985. Don't think I'll do better than that any time soon.

Yeah, it's harder to get the points to register in real life.

I scored 114k. His head left his body, and the screams were great. My machine crashed while trying to upload the pic, though. I saved it for when I'm brave enough to try to upload again.

Damn, that score is impressive. I wish you could export the fall sequence as a little vide clip.

I wanted to try to figure out how, and actually had the thing still saved (didn't play again) until the computer died. I wasn't happy. Trying it again, I was only able to hit like 74k.

Trying again...

Edit: It worked!!!! Serious neck and head wounding. Previous to this score, the head and neck added up to my old high score

I just nailed 118k. I shouldn't have installed this game on a night when i was evading school and homework and instead drinking beer...

cool... Unfortunately you would think the screams would have been better for so much damage...

My method was to go for the head... heh. But yours seems to be working out much better.

That's a truly awesome score and I doubt I could repeat that easily. Did you notice that we are essentially exploiting a physics bug in the code? You are punching a portion of the body (seemingly) through the environment which gives these disproportionate scores.

I do know that we're exploiting a bug; that's how I got my 180,000 from head shots. The head would come clean off the body and then return, taking massive damage while it was moving at such a high speed. But I also believe there's a bit of luck involved. If you find a setting like yours, that works well, and stick to it, eventually you'll get a lucky fall that rewards you with much more damage than normal.

Sorry, I'm a total fraud, I Googled for help and didn't discover the (rough) settings myself

I agree about the luck part. Often my mousing [is that a real word?] doesn't resolve to the exact XYZ parameters that'd I'd like to try and add to that the power setting where all-bars-lit (or whatever you're trying to achieve) doesn't necessarily mean the same as the time before when it looked the same.

I googled it too. It looks like a little bit more than just a flesh wound on his shin.

This is another amusing combo, I forget if I mentioned it before or not (too lazy to scroll back). Set your heading to 0 and your pitch to about 45, and bop him hard on the head. He'll fall and bounce in such a way that he should land right on his head. Don't always get the most impressive scores, but it looks damn amusing.

Oh, and my new little picture/avatar to the left works
