CVS + Newlines - 29/01/2004 20:39

I have used CVS for a long time, and the one thing that really annoys me is that I have never been able to find a way to explicitly declare what newlines it should be using. When I went on my trip, I checked out my code on my Windows box, but since I had to leave sort of quickly, I just copied it all to a CD so I could load it on the laptop later. Well the laptop is OS X. So I did a bunch of work on OS X, and now when I attempt to checkin, all the files show up as 100% modified because of some funky newline conversion somewhere ... Unfortunately I can't figure out what it is expecting and it's driving me insane

Anyone know the path of least resisitance at this point?

perl -pi -e s#^M##g `find -name '*.java'`

seems to be the fastest so far, but it would be nice to do this through cvs itself ...
