UK Power Question

In the UK is the 220V power between two 110V phases or is it between a single 220V phase and a neutral return? I think it's the latter, but I'm not dead sure.

Sorry to post it here, but all the search terms are so common that my google-fu fails me.

It's 230v and a single phase + neutral. Used to be 240v, but now we're harmonised with europe

Thanks a bunch! I'm trying to evaluate the leak current (to ground) for an RF line filter and needed to know for sure what to feed the little biter.
