some simple question like
1) can i use like a external hdd??
2) has a remote control?

(** There's a port for a remote, but one has not been built and the karma couldn't use a remote without a firmware upgrade.)

It's been publically stated that future Rio portable products will appear as a hard drive, and then hinted that this support is likely to come to Karma in the future. That doesn't help you today, but it does mean that maybe someone will be able to answer your question differently in the future.
