Didn't seem sour to me. His primary complaint was the hard disk lockup, which is an actual known problem and it's not unfair of him to mention it in a review.

The review read as very favourable to me, not sour at all. Many people who had experienced that kind of lockup would be very sour about it.

It was a very lame "sour apples" pun. OK, comedy is not my strong suit.
You're right. The comments were where most of the sourness came from. in fact, the review itself was fairly positive but in view of the overall features of the Karma vs. the amount of content devoted to point out flaws diluted most of the good karma. (try 2 at humor)
