I have the IR codes for the four buttons on the left, but what are they for the rotary knob? Are there any?

They're in hijack.h which I don't happen to have handy but if my memory is correct, they're 0xB and 0xA. Not sure of the order.

Yeah, I just got em. I just printf'd the codes when I turned the knob and read( ) the codes out.

Sure, do it the hard way. 
The Show Button Codes display in Hijack can be used for such stuff.
