If the only thing that it had brought me was the Amersfoort meets, it would have all been well worth it (Rob, stand up and take a bow!).
But it's also brought an encyclopaedia of knowledge on things technical and not, from people whom I can trust to be authoritative, and given me a small degree of PC literacy which I would have otherwise missed out on by this time in life.
