TV certainly takes a bite out of my movie watching. I don't watch much TV, but given a choice between renting a movie I haven't seen or watching an episode of Fringe or House, and I'm watching the episode.

One other thing that impacts me, but probably not a lot of others, is that I found an oline live poker "show" that has a new episode available every Tuesday and Friday and is three hours long. With and iPad/Apple TV combination I can watch this on my TV, it's free, and it's really enjoyable to me. I'd rather watch that than rent a movie unless it's a movie I'm really anticipating.
