Let us know how that works out. I suspect that these chips also have internal firmware, and compatibility may also depend upon the exact firmware version included.

Since you've upgraded a couple players + you're in Canada, any chance you've got a couple extra DRAM chips kicking around? I'll buy a couple off you if you do. Pretty confident I can do it and make it work reliably
