Hi guys,

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct rotary encoder for a Mk2a?

http://uk.farnell.com/alps/ec11e15244c0/encoder-vertical-30-det-15ppr-sw/dp/1520806

The FAQ seems to suggest the part numbers are the same, except the Farnell part has 'C0' on the end.

Cheers!

The only reference to an encoder in the Replacement Parts list was for a pdf link that is broken.

Googling "meggitt rotary encoder" found this.

From looking at an Mk2a rotary encoder altman sent to me years ago, the link you posted looks correct. 30 detents, 15 ppr, 6mm diameter shaft, push switch w/0.5mm travel, vertical layout, through-hole, and made by Alps.
