... has anyone ever managed to get anywhere with Searching the Empeg via some sort of XML page to return results based on Title, Artist or Source.

I'm sure a lot of people use their Empeg for Streaming and this would prove useful.

Could probably have a go myself but I have no idea how to connect to the database in the Empeg, if this is at all possible

Can someone give me some pointers ...

Thanks

This might help a bit... Link. . tman set this up for me. I export my database to csv format, upload to my server and then browse to a certain URL to make the database import to the php server.

Thanks !

I understand, so this is the Fid's exported to a CSV and then the web page searches the CSV table(s)

This works really well and is what I would want except I would like to be able to stream directly from the results.

Is it possible to search the empeg database directly from the web page i.e. using some sort of ODBC connector ?

Anyone ?

Thanks
