Hi,

Yesterday I uploaded a few songs to my 2.0b3 Empeg with the Emplode 2.0b3. During the rebuilding the database I got an error and the upload was not successfully finished.

After that, I had to finish my emplode application an unplug -> replug the power cable on the Empeg...During the night (about 7 hours) my device is now Building music databases...

Can somebody tell me what I have to do!

One of the songs I uploaded was form Paul Way. this MP3 is about 266mb....But disk space is not the problem. I have more than 15gb free disk space.

He have now his website running on: http://paulway.d0gz.net.

Paul I hope this is ok?

Sh.t, and I have a longer car trip today without music :-((( and radio...

thanks for helping me!

Don't know what's wrong. Try downgrading to 1.03 and re-synching?

I guess when one is impatient with the response time of the BBS, one shouldn't sit there and pound repeatedly on the "Continue" button.

Toni,

Are you angry? Because you was sending me 4 times the same eMail? If yes, sorry for my reminder.

Do I have to install first Emplode 1.03? Or can I downgrade first the Empeg to 1.03 and then the Emplode? Or doesn't matter?

Thanks...

Are you angry?

Heh, no, not at all. The BBS did not respond quickly, so I pressed the "Continue" button about 20 times in an attempt to make it respond. I thought it was funny so I did not delete the extra messages.

Do I have to install first Emplode 1.03?

I do not think it matters what order you do it in, as long as you do both.

Hello Toni,

I did downgrade the Player and connected via the 1.03 Emplode. I had the Paul Way songs in the unattached area. After deleting them I did upgrade to 2.0b3 and the Empeg is running now! wow!

Do I have to send this MP3 Files (62mb, 68mb, 266MB) to the guys@Empeg support?

Or is there a limitation of the size volume a new feature?

Thanks for the tip to downgrade!

Bye

There is no size limitation that I know about. However you are the second person to report trouble uploading a big file in 2.0b3. I will let the developers know about it.

In the meantime, you might be able to get it working by re-uploading the PaulWay mix in 1.03, then upgrading to 2.0 after everything is stable.

Thanks for the tip, but I will try it with the final 2.0 release, or with a newer Beta release! I can listen to Pauls mixes at home!

Thanks again!

bye
