Hello,

I am building a project which requires me to mount some DB25 connectors on 3/4" MDF. Obviously I cant mount these directly to the wood (at least easily), so what I am looking for is a plastic or metal panel with cutouts already in it that I can just mount over a hole I can cut into the wood. Has anyone here had any experience with these types of projects, and has any information for me as to where I might obtain something like this? Any help is appriciated! Thanks!

I mounted my DB9 connector to the back of my home docking station with hot glue.

Salvage some 386s from the junk yard. You will find plenty of these.

Well, you might be able to adapt something like the DB-X panels from Middle Atlantic -- help neaten things up a bit.

If you search here on "Middle Atlantic" or "CH-2" you should find a link to a mail-order outfit selling MA products....or any "pro sound" shop will likely carry MA.

Yea this is more of what I was talking about. Just an oversized metal panel with the cutout already done for me. I will see if I can find some of these online for purchase. Thanks for the info!
