I know there aren't a lot of empeggers in Scotland, but if anyone wants to come and see my band - Metaltech - we are playing next on the 12th of March at GRV in Edinburgh.

As you may have guessed from the name we play a blend of Metal and Techno :-)

I liked the sound of the tracks you had on your player. Although I couldn't make the ustream player skip to your bit and I gave up trying to listen to the britpop wannabes who were up first.

I'm more of a "Five Aces" sort of person, when I'm in your parts: If you've struggled with both the weight and innards of a Hammond Organ and Lesley cabinet, it forms a bond. Besides, it's not every lead singer who contacts you and asks you what you think of it, when you buy a CD.
Not that I'll be in your parts in the near future: I crushed my hip in an accident and after 4 weeks in hospital, I'm housebound for the next couple of months!

I have had words with Erik - the lead singer who put the page together, and it is better...however it is still myspace, and as such it sucks!

I will have to work on getting proper format video from one of the gigs soon. I'll have to see if I can get some youtube action going on from the March gig - most people can view that.

We have it quite light, as the drummer is a laptop with Cubase...

What's the difference between a drummer and a drum machine? You only punch the instructions in once with a drum machine.

To cut a long story short: Cold day - black ice, it just looked like the mud it usually is.
I had to drag myself some distance, then somebody saw me: where I was it was just lucky somebody came past, but my wife would realise something was wrong but probably not for an hour, however it was bloody cold.
I contemplated letting the dog free, but suffering from lifelong diminished responsibility, he would probably have headed for the nearest field of sheep - he comes considerably lower in the gene pool than Lassie.
I can't wait to try my ball and socket out on an airport scanner!

Oh dear, I'd wondered whether you'd done it working on your trains. Did they manage stick your old joint together or have you got a whole new one?

Our news reader at work managed to break his hip on a 10K run, he was literally 200 yards from the finish. Broke the ball clean off, it's now held on with a big bolt.
