This sounds like a network configuration problem on your home computer. Make sure the ip address is on the same subnet as you

PC IP: 192.168.1.2
PC Subnet: 255.255.255.0

empeg IP: 192.168.1.3
empeg subnet: 255.255.255.0

Hailp! I'm at a loss for what to try next. I don't know anything about networks. Should I be setting something in my internet browser as well? (I'm using IE 5) I've looked in the lan settings under connection and clicked Automatically Detect settings but that didn't seem to make any difference.
