bonzi pooh-bah Registered: 13/09/1999 Posts: 2401 Loc: Croatia	My access to the Board has been excruciatingly slow today. I was quick to accuse our favourite Croatian near-monopoly ISP, but it seems it is not their fault for once: most other sites come in normally. Has anybody had similar problems today? andy carpal tunnel Registered: 10/06/1999 Posts: 5914 Loc: Wivenhoe, Essex, UK	I recommend we upgrade the Internet from this outdated dual 5 1/4 inch floppy drive machine to a machine with one of those new fangled 5Mb Winchester fixed disk drives... (we should also upgrade the memory from 512k to 640k, as I'm told that will make it completely future proof, after all who would ever need more than 640k of memory?) __ Unit serial number 47 (was 330 in the queue)... _________________________ Remind me to change my signature to something more interesting someday

No, you just fold them in half to fit them in these ultra-modern 3.5" drive watsits. we should also upgrade the memory from 512k to 640k ... But memory is so expensive, we can't justify the money for such a minimal improvement in performance. Besides we can just pour iron filings on the disks to increase thier capacity.
