Now that sonicblue is done for, Will this unit see liquidation sales as severe as the empeg?

The ReplayTV business unit was purchased by the same company that purchased the Rio/empeg unit.

So I doubt it.

The replaytv people are busy rolling out a software update, and rasing the subscription fees to match TiVo's recent price hike. By all accounts so far it's business as usual in Replay land. Another interesting thing to think about is that a Replay with lifetime subscription is less than half the orginal cost of an empeg.
