true, but IIRC, mark said that the flash memory is already written over every bootup, and it would take 100,000 power cycles to finally kill it off with normal usage. so, arbritrarily setting, say that the boot logo shuffle makes the life lower by 10, allowing for 10,000 cycles. if your average was 5 cycles a day, it would last you about 6 years, and if by that time nothing surpasses the empeg still, then you can always replace the flash memory, correct? =)
