I just thought I'd chime and to let everyone know that being pulled by a car is not a good idea. Just last weekend, I was in Hatteras NC with some friends and was being pulled by a truck on a skimboard. I was doing really well, I was able to steer and jump the waves and everything basically just standing on a piece of plywood. I was doing so well that the driver decided to speed up some. So before I knew what was going on, I was going 35 mph, standing on a piece of plywood in 1 inch of water. I hit a dry patch of sand and went down hard on my left shoulder. Got to take a fun ambulance ride and get a bunch of x-rays. I seperated my shoulder which means I tore a couple ligaments that connect my shoulder blade to my collar bone. So now I have to get physical therapy for a long time and possibly surgery to put it all back together. So this is me just saying not to follow the example in that movie.
